Refugee walk recount!

On Monday the 10th of May the senior syndicate went to the red zone!

We did lots of actives!

The first activity was that we made forts/tents. When we made our tents/fort we needed to make sure that no rain could come in and we needed to make it in a safe and dark place away from the enemies.

The second activity was dodge the bombs and lead your partner to the end without getting bombed. My partner was Payton. The first time we did it Payton got bombed. This was because when Miss Pownall threw the bomb at her feet she stepped on it.

The third activity was to answer questions in Mandarin to be able to cross to China if you were a refugee we had to work out what the teacher was saying because the were also talking Mandarin. We had to say our age, the date, our last name.

The fourth activity was trying the food that refugees would eat if there was wars and bombs in there country. We found out that refugees just eat rice nothing else rice everyday and ever week.

My Favourite part was really all of them cause they were really fun to do but kinda sad because we got to feel what it feels like to be refugee and how hard it is for the little kids and the adults.
